If the Eagles' supposed interest in Randy Moss and Larry Fitzgerald was sincere, it's no secret it feels it needs a more viable threat in the passing game than what is on the current roster. Forget Chad Johnson. The Bengals are playing hardball with him and are not going to deal him and he may be as much trouble as he is worth, and he's worth plenty. Detroit's Roy Williams should be the target. His quotes this past week in which he admitted he thought he was going to be traded before, or during, the draft, speaks volumes. One veteran, who will remain nameless at this time, told me last week his agent told him he could be part of a trade package with Lito Sheppard. So something could still be in the works.

Sorry,the paper I read said post season,it made me laugh. I though Kitna dreamed up the plan,since he is leading rush to the SuperBowl for Millen and Ford.This sounds more plausible,they can sell more thrash in the form of the exhibition game.

Yeah, slow time of year for football fans. I'm going on the coastal camping trip the first week of June, so I'm opening the trailer up today and getting it ready to go. High winds and fire alert today here with 100 degree temps. What the heck happened to spring? Cyclones, twisters, Earth quakes and wildfires, if he77 just freezes over maybe the Lions will make the playoffs this year.

No salt mines for me today. Been busier at work but nothing till tomorrow for me tho we have a home show that is being setup today for this weekend , I'm not helping on it. There are 2 picks the Lions made in the draft I'm really questioning. The WR in the fifth and the DT in the 6th. While the WR may make the team again they really didn't need another WR, even if he can return kicks. I read on PFW that at Dallas's minicamp Orlando Scandrick outplayed Mike Jenkins at CB. He has size and speed, and Dallas got him in the 5th round and he outplayed their 1st round CB. The Lions once again put a bandaid on the defensive backfield and called it fixed . Resigning the guys they had from last year that couldn't get it done when given the chance seems really stupid to me. I don't have a problem with signing some vets who know the system, but they should have gotten some young guys with more talent then the guys they had (that shouldn't have been hard to do) and let them learn behind the vets to hopefully move past them and start.Same article talked about the Vikings being improved on D with the signing of Allen and of Maidu Williams at safety who is a better player and much more reliable then Dwight Smith, our new safety. So maybe we can look forward to Smith making some plays and getting burned on some others. Kelly I totally don't like because of age and injuries. Sorry for getting off topic here a little........Festus, SP54 and me aren't causing the Lions to lose, they can do that all on their own.......Rebuilding since 57
