i like wilcox. in a wonderful dream, it would be nice to put wilcox next to sheed, have james jones backup prince, bonzi backing up rip. joe always says we need energy, chris anderson and gerald wallace are available. gerald is great on defense. heck, i would be willing too see how jj reddick would do, somebody needs to give him a chance

Randolph don't have a fraction of Sheeds brain capacity to even be discuss in the same breathe as Sheed. It's a lot more to the game than 20pts and 10 rebound and still losing and getting 13 and 7 and being in the ECF 6 seasons. If he was that great NY and Portland would have at least made the playoffs.

...try this genius...Trade CB to Seattle for both the expiring contracts of Wilcoxs and Marshall they just might bite on this worst case senario you'll have Sheed, Wilcox and Marshall all coming off the books after 2009 some 25 million in cap space.
Then Joe you need to make a 3.5 million 2 year deal to Kristic that Jersey not willing to match that only half of your MLE. Now you have a crap load of bigs Sheed, Wilcox, Dice, Kristic, Samb, JMax, Tay, Amir and Sharp all in your front court.
Okay I know its not pretty enough for you all thinking this team still needs a superstar crap. But that move could still net this team a Ship, with Wilcox, Sheed, Marshall all playing for contracts, its a small risk on Kristic who will could trade after next season, overall this 3 new piece could be motivated simply by actually being this close to a ship and be what is needed to get us over the hump. The bonus in this is you left 3 of the core players intact, so the only thin left is to offer Dixon a contract.
I like the Camby, Jr for CB better but this is one that could work as well but adding Kristic to either scenario oppose to Theo is what I would do.

Have you seen Pietrus play? If we can get him for the MLE, I don't see why not. He would definatley be an upgrade for backup for Prince. He is a great defender.

Everybody keeps shooting down all the possible trades or free agents that we could pickup. Were going around in circles. Is it because we have grown so attached to the players we already have , or is it because nobody out there would either fit the team or make it better, or is it because unless we bring in D.Howard, K. Bryant, etc nobody is worth blessing our beloved team ? For those of us that wanna trade all our vets and let the young guys take over, are you that sold on these guys or are we just wasting time until the free agents of 2010 ? There has to be some method to our madness, we are more concerned then the next friends that ride on the next fantastic boat ride with cedric benson ! lol

I am not sure Zach Randolph is who the Pistons should be targeting. Yes, his stats are great. However, he does not make his team any better. When he left Portland, they actually got better.

please stop with the pietrus deal it will not work don't get me wrong he's a ok player but he is not worth money he's going to want . I still like j.r. smith he is a free agency and he will not cost to much plus he have alot of up size to his game way more than pietrus and when j.r. play against the lakers he was the one who kept denver in the game not carmelo and what will davie lee do that maxi don't do now let kept what we have now and make small move let start with amir let move him and cut are lost because anybody that has sheed there to help him for 3 year and only have 1 post move and sheed have about 7 or 8 need to go,you have to want it nobody going take you by the hand and say, hey' amir want to see a post move to day here we go.lets trade some of that dead weight thats on the bench like everybody but max and stuck can go. oh' by the way i like paul millsap & ronny turiaf also keyon dooling.guys who want it by all mean, and don't tell me that these guys don't play hard they are already battle tested because they all been in the playoff.

youtube has a nice video on walter sharpe, looks decent, maybe a young garnett. washington has a few highlight video's there also. not bad. more athletic than affalo
People dont get to excited over highlight video's. Comparing Sharpe to Garnett is a bit of a stretch I think. You have to remember they take an individuals best plays and put them on the highlight vids. Washingtons highlights made him look like the second coming of Jordan. But did anyone else besides me notice that he had one jumpshot the entire video? Any 6'6 player can dunk, but its obvious he must have been a terrible jumpshooter.
