Aug. 11 winner
Luann Dieziel of Trenton is this week's winner. This is only the second summer she has worked on her Tudor home's corner lot garden, which is filled with phlox and coneflowers and attracts admirers on a daily basis. She receives a copy of Home Depot's "Gardening 1-2-3" (Meredith, $34.95).
Aug. 4 winner
This week's winner is Elizabeth Aprea of New Baltimore. "Our favorite spot to enjoy a breeze in August is under our grape arbor," she says. "Planting the arbor was a better choice for our family than planting a large shade tree -- it suits the courtyard-type European landscape we prefer." Aprea wins a copy of Wendell T. Webber's "Nico De Swert Living with Flowers" (Abrams, $40).
