Celebrate Michigan!
It's back, so get your cameras out. The response was so overwhelming to our first Detroit News/WWJ Radio 950 Celebrate Michigan! Photo Contest that we are starting up a summer version.
Give us your best shot of the towering pine forests of Northern Michigan or kids frolicking in the dunes along Lake Michigan. Each Saturday during the summer we'll pick the photo that best captures the unique character of our home state. The winner gets four tickets to an upcoming concert at the Freedom Hill Ampitheatre in Sterling Heights.
What's required: We need your contact info to get in touch in case your photo is chosen to run in the print edition. Also give us the pertinent info about the photo in a caption. Where did you shoot the photograph, what is it, what makes it special.
